I would like to emphasize first that I greatly appreciate Kenya, Kenyan culture, and the Kenyan people. However, the state of medicine in Kenya, particularly in cardiology, has indeed shocked Israeli doctors. Your methods are at least 20, perhaps even 30 years outdated — especially when it comes to the treatment of cardiovascular diseases and hypertension.

Judge for yourself how doctors in Kenya suggest treating hypertension: with medications like Tritace, Esidrex, Tenormin, Renitec, Cozaar, Norvasc and other similar drugs.

These medications, however, do not TREAT hypertension; they simply lower blood pressure. Now, imagine what happens in a person's body: as soon as the pill is taken, the blood pressure drops. However, once the effect of the pill wears off, blood pressure rises again. These fluctuations are even more dangerous for the body than consistently high blood pressure. They damage the blood vessels in a very short time and can lead to a heart attack or stroke.

In Israel, this method of treating hypertension has not been used for over 20 years. Blood pressure-lowering medications are only used in rare cases — and never on a daily basis. Furthermore, they are only available with a prescription and are not sold in such large quantities.

Your doctors and pharmacists are killing people! It is obviously more financially profitable to sell expensive blood pressure-lowering medications than to cure hypertension once and for all. But this is simply terrifying!

And what about hypertension treatment in Israel?

Dr. Amir Kremer:

Our scientists realized long ago that it is necessary to fight not the consequences of high blood pressure, but its causes. This is the key to a complete, quick, and safe recovery. And what is the main cause of hypertension? The pollution of the blood vessels! Up to 96% of hypertension cases are age-related.
